JW QUILMSAURUS is a model based on a genus of carnivorous annelid dinosaurs from the Upper Cretaceous Patagonian (Campanian period) of Argentina. It is a member of the Abelisauridae, closely related to genera such as Carnotaurus. The only known remains of the genus are leg bones that bear certain similarities to many abelisaurids. However, these bones lack unique features, which would make Quilmasaurus a nomen vanum (often called a nomen dubium, or "dubious name").
