JURASSIC WORLD MATTEL Dinosaur Toys Masiakasaurus HCL85/GWN31
JW FIERCE FORCE MASIAKAsaurus is a dinosaur model based on the Masiakasaurus. This is a genus of small predatory noasaurid theropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous of Madagascar. In Malagasy, masiaka means "evil"; thus, the genus name means "fierce lizard".
The species, Masiakasaurus knopfleri, is named after musician Mark Knopfler, whose music inspired the expedition. It was named in 2001 by Scott D. Sampson, Matthew Carrano and Catherine A. Forster.
Unlike most arthropods, the incisors of M. knopfleri point forward instead of straight down. This unique denture suggests they had a specialized diet, perhaps including fish and other small prey.
Other bones in the skeleton indicate that Masiakasaurus was bipedal, with forelimbs much shorter than the hindlimbs. M. knopfleri reaches an estimated adult body length of about 2 meters (6 ft 7 in).
Get ready for dangerous yet exciting adventures with ferocious dinosaurs in Jurassic World! These dinosaurs have movable joints to create a variety of fun poses, and each dinosaur has a unique feature that shows the strength of prehistoric dinosaurs.
