The bare-nosed koala is a marsupial with short, muscular quadrupeds, native to Australia. They are about 80 cm long with a small, stubby tail and weigh from 20 to 35 kg. With the special structure of their bodies, mother bears can carry their young in pouches on their buttocks and cubs can stay in their mother's pouch until they are about 8 months old.
